GoAwards SCO Logo basicOn 21 October 2014 we were honoured alongside the Scottish procurement community’s finest at the Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards, Scotland 2014/15. These were held at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. We were extremely proud and grateful to be announced as the Winner in the GO Best Service Award category. A team from Dolby Vivisol went to the Glasgow Marriott Hotel to collect the award and had a fantastic evening.

The GO Awards Scotland recognise public sector procurement excellence, celebrate Scotland’s thriving business community and, for the past seven years, have been the benchmark by which progress in public commissioning has been measured.

Grahame Steed, Managing Editor of GO, said of the Awards: “Tonight’s Awards demonstrated again just how much the quality of procurement has improved in Scotland over the years. What was once seen as a pioneering initiative a few years ago, is now industry standard across the sector. “I always say that reaching finalist status is a fantastic achievement itself, but this year organisations had to really raise their game to reach that status and the Winners and Highly Commended have raised the benchmark yet again. Well done!”

Our Managing Director, Steve Cottee said of the win: “This is a very special and unexpected award. It’s important for the people we help that we provide them with a great service and this is recognition of that. We’d absolutely love to enter the GO Awards again. We’d like to make another submission for the upcoming national awards.”

We would also like to congratulate the other winners from this year’s award ceremony.

From Monday 17th June to Sunday 23rd June, we are supporting the British Lung Foundation to rasie awareness across the UK.

10,000 people get a new diagnosis of lung disease every week. Early and accurate diagnosis is critical. Many people with lung disease remain undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for years and only learn of their condition when it’s too late for effective treatment.
